In the US, showerheads screw onto a standard 1/2-inch threaded arm — the pipe coming out of your wall. That thread has been the same for decades, across every brand. Ours uses it.

Take the old head off
Turn it counterclockwise by hand. If it's stiff, wrap a cloth around it for grip. No wrench, no plumber.

Screw ours on
Clockwise, hand-tight. The rubber washer sits inside the connector and makes the seal — it's already in place.

Turn the water on
Look at the joint for drips. If there are none, you're done. Start to finish, this takes about a minute.
